Project goals
The goal was to develop an AI-driven educational assistant capable of delivering accurate, contextual responses based on organization-specific knowledge. The system needed to support educational content processing, enhance student self-learning, and streamline teacher support.
Educational institutions and training providers often deal with fragmented information spread across websites and internal documents. The challenge was to create a centralized solution that could understand and respond to questions using diverse data sources, while maintaining high accuracy and speed.
We built a scalable backend using Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB, integrated with LangChain and Pinecone for advanced vector search capabilities. The system ingests and indexes various formats of educational content from websites and documents, storing embeddings for efficient retrieval. The infrastructure is cloud-based using AWS services and fully containerized with Docker for flexible deployment.
